Hi! This is us.
Hi! This is us.
Hi, this is Jason!
My scooter hurtles the streets in the heart of Amsterdam, where I have lived for over twenty years (since I was young a man, now I am 42. Meaningful number for us and those who know the story of The Hitchhiker’s guide to the Galaxy!).
After having spent over 15 years in the international business world, working for Microsoft oriented companies as a Business Consultant, Project Manager and Technical Analyst I turned my life upside down and decided to become an English teacher. I am currently finishing up my studies. Next I want to become a pianist.
But I am combining these days, the lively job of teaching next to the solitude of technical puzzles. My ICT background with a focus on workflow and process analysis, combined with my love to help people and my intrinsic need to improve any situation I encounter, has inspired me to start up this new business with Helena, my beloved fiancée. We like to be a small and people driven company to help out small businesses in the world wild web world.
We like to cooperate closely with our clients, answer to their specific needs. And all with a big smile, because a day without laughter is still a day wasted, right?
Hey, it’s Helena!
Our name Don´t Panic thrives from the story of Arthur who after the end of the world travels trough space in the book The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Arthur had a manual, which seems very complicated, but on the cover it said: DON’T PANIC. So don´t worry too much. We are here to guide you trough the Galaxy of the Web.
I am a cinematographer and a photographer who has been educated for the web world by Jason’s Don´t Panic manual. Yet, for me everything is about storytelling.
I treat every website I design with intesive care and thought. I work to understand our clients and their needs and the “spirit” of their expertise, so it passes on effortlessly to their clients.
I am sitting at back of the scooter. Jason handles the techinal steering, I am observing the world trough my camera lens. I design, capture photos and film and sometimes I write. It is all about stories – what’s your Story?
